How Do I Prepare
Brow Tattoo preparation
- Exfoliate your brow area the night before to remove any dead skin which will help pigment retention. Come with clean face unless you have a desired shape you want us to map and follow.
- Do not consume caffeine or alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment to prevent excessive bleeding. These things can lessen the effect of numbing which may make you more sensitive during the procedure.
- Do NOT TAKE ADVIL or other blood thinners such a Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 48-72 hrs prior to your procedure. Extra strength Tylenol can be taken if you have low pain tolerance 30 minutes before appointment.
- Do not take or get any Botox, chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, vitamin E, retinols, vitamin C, or fish oil at least 4 weeks before your appointment.
- If you're on the acne treatment, Accutane, you must stop for 6 months before scheduling your appointment. for .
- No tweezing, waxing or threading brows 1 week prior to your appointment.
- Please do not tan (in bed or sun) for 2 weeks prior to appointment and avoid direct sunlight at all costs.
What is The Healing Process
Aftercare
By the 4th week post application, your color will blossom into its true hue however, during that time your brows go through 4 stages of healing.
- 1st stage (week 1) brows will darken, look bold, unnatural, and feel tender.
- 2nd stage (week 2) they become itchy, and begin to flake & peel.
- 3rd stage (week 3) brows loose 30 percent of saturation and begin to lighten. Don't freak out, the color comes back.
- 4th stage (week 4) brows settle into the desired color and you begin to REALLY love your brows.
For optimal and long lasting results, touch up should be done between 6-8 weeks to finalize and perfect your brows.

Am I able to get the service? You may NOT have this procedure if :
- You are under 18
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have been on Accutane within the 6 months
- Have HIV or Hepatitis or any other infectious or viral diseases

- You are Epileptic
- You are taking medications that may affect how your skin responds to blood clotting and healing.
- You develop infections easily
If I've had Botox around my brows, am I still a candidate for Powder/Combo Brows?
Yes! In no way does having Botox interfere with the process of tattooing brows or the results. Note: Botox and Brow Tattoo appointments MUST be at least 4 weeks apart from each other.
How long will it last? Depending on your skin, health and if you come for touchup refreshers, your tattoo will last from 2-5 years.
Here are some factors that will cause your brow tattoo to fade faster:
Products such as Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Glycolic acid, Apple cider vinegar, Vitamin E and C, and Retinol can lighten or fade your tattoo faster. Wear sunscreen as the UV rays will deteriorate the pigment and lighten or fade the tattoo faster as well. Salt water and chlorine can also deteriorate the pigment so rinse with water immediately after contact. Oily skin, exfoliants and metabolism can also lessen the longevity.
Does it hurt?
It can be slightly uncomfortable but completely bearable. We use an excessive amount of numbing so most don't feel much if anything. If you are nervous about pain, you may take 1-2 Tylenol 30 minutes before your appointment. DO NOT take Advil or drink caffeine before your appointment. Caffeine and Advil will cause you to bleed lots and also make you more sensitive during the procedure.
